Hudson AI Supports Real-Time Translation at the '2026 Gyeonggi International Webtoon Fair'
This article discusses how Hudson AI participated in the '2026 Gyeonggi International Webtoon Fair' to provide its real-time AI translation technology, aiding the successful global expansion of K-content (webtoons) and facilitating seamless communication.

Integrated Operation of Korean-Japanese-English Simultaneous Interpretation, Split-Screen Subtitles for Panel Talks, and OBS-Based Live Broadcasting
Hudson AI (CEO Shin Hyun-jin), an artificial intelligence (AI) voice technology company, announced on the 18th that it supplied its real-time AI translation solution, 'Hudson Live,' to the '2026 Gyeonggi International Webtoon Fair' hosted by Gyeonggi Province. By supporting the broadcasting of multilingual subtitles at the global webtoon seminar, the company proved its highly advanced voice AI technology.
Held on the 17th at the Conference Hall of the Bucheon Webtoon Convergence Center, the event was a specialized B2B seminar discussing the overseas expansion and investment of webtoon IPs. Hosted by Gyeonggi Province and organized by the Gyeonggi Content Agency, major domestic and international content companies and institutions participated to discuss global webtoon business agendas in depth.
Hudson AI established a multilingual, real-time AI translation environment supporting Korean, Japanese, and English for all sessions, including keynote speeches and panel talks. Translated subtitles were stably displayed on a large screen at the venue, and a QR code access guide was provided so attendees could easily connect via their personal devices.
In the multi-party panel talks, readability was enhanced by implementing subtitles that clearly distinguished the conversational flow of each speaker. Furthermore, utilizing Open Broadcaster Software (OBS), the company seamlessly managed integrated broadcasting operations, expertly overlaying subtitles directly onto presentation materials for the on-site screens.

Showcasing High-Precision Recognition of Specialized Terminology for Webtoon IPs and Global B2B Investments
Using a domain-customized model, the system accurately recognized highly difficult industry jargon discussed at the event, such as webtoon IP, publishing, and cross-border investments. This eliminated the risk of mistranslation in the live subtitles and provided highly sophisticated translations, facilitating smooth communication among global business stakeholders.
Previously, Hudson AI validated its technical capabilities in the public sector by providing real-time Korean subtitles for the live broadcast of the Republic of Korea State Council meeting on KTV. The company also holds a solid track record of successfully supplying official real-time AI translation at the '2026 Broadcast Worldwide (BCWW),' an event featuring 403 companies from 17 countries.
Building on these achievements, the company plans to expand its B2B application areas beyond media and broadcasting to global financial and fintech summits, as well as live broadcasts of large corporate IR meetings and town halls. It plans to continuously enhance its integrated solutions for multilingual business channels, including corporate webinars and YouTube live streams.
"It is deeply meaningful to have proven the effectiveness of high-precision AI translation at a key business site where K-content is expanding globally," said Shin Hyun-jin, CEO of Hudson AI. He added, "We will continue to break down language barriers and innovatively enhance real-time voice AI infrastructure for global business environments."
