Hudson AI Supports Real-Time Translation Technology at ‘Joint Workshop for Foreign Press Spokespersons’
This article discusses how Hudson AI provided its real-time AI translation technology for the 'Joint Workshop for Foreign Press Spokespersons,' a government agency event, breaking down global communication barriers and facilitating seamless information exchange.

Minimizing Communication Delays Through Integrated Support for Simultaneous Voice Interpretation and OBS-Based Live Subtitle Overlay Broadcasting
Hudson AI (CEO Shin Hyun-jin), an artificial intelligence (AI) voice technology company, announced on the 18th that it supplied its real-time AI translation solution, 'Hudson Live,' to the 'Q3 2026 Joint Workshop for Government Foreign Press Spokespersons' hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The company proved its highly advanced voice AI technology by supporting two-way simultaneous interpretation for government agencies.
Held on the 16th at the Press Center in Jung-gu, Seoul, the event was a specialized training session attended by approximately 50 foreign press spokespersons from 48 central administrative agencies. Michael Breen, CEO of Insight Communications, took the stage as a speaker, leading an in-depth discussion on global foreign press response strategies through a 90-minute English lecture and a 30-minute Q&A session.
Hudson AI established a multilingual, real-time AI translation environment that provided Korean subtitles and translated voice audio for the English lectures across all sessions. Translated subtitles were displayed on a large screen at the venue, and a customized environment was provided where attendees could simultaneously access Korean-English subtitles and audio through 40 rental earphones and QR code access on their personal devices.
In the subsequent two-way Q&A session, readability was enhanced by implementing subtitles that clearly distinguished the conversational flow of Korean and English remarks for each speaker. Additionally, using Open Broadcaster Software (OBS), the company seamlessly managed integrated broadcasting operations, expertly overlaying subtitles directly onto the speaker's presentation materials on the venue's screens.

High-Precision Recognition of Specialized Terminology for Foreign Policy and Press Relations
Using a domain-customized model, the system accurately recognized highly difficult specialized terminology discussed at the event, such as national policies and diplomatic communications. This eliminated the risk of mistranslation in the live subtitles and maximized the post-event operational efficiency of government agencies by flawlessly generating subtitle data for post-production video editing after the workshop concluded.
Previously, Hudson AI validated its technical reliability in the public sector by providing real-time Korean subtitles for the live broadcast of the Republic of Korea State Council meeting on KTV. The company also holds a solid track record of successfully supplying official real-time AI translation at the '2026 Broadcast Worldwide (BCWW),' an event featuring 403 companies from 17 countries.
Building on these operational achievements at public and large-scale events, Hudson AI plans to expand its B2B application areas beyond media and broadcasting to global financial and fintech summits, live broadcasts of large corporate IR meetings and town halls, and corporate YouTube channels and webinars. The company plans to continuously enhance its integrated multilingual solutions optimized for various business channels.
"It is deeply meaningful to have proven the effectiveness and stability of high-precision AI translation at a government ministry workshop dealing with core national policies," said Shin Hyun-jin, CEO of Hudson AI. He added, "We will continue to break down language barriers and innovatively enhance real-time voice AI infrastructure for global communication environments."
